| Andrea has worked in the IT
market since the early 1970s. Her career began in the marketing departments of Rank
Xerox, ITT and British Printing Corporation. She later co-founded Wharton Information
Systems, a publishing house producing research and market reports on Computers and
Communications and Information Processing. She continues to edit and produce reports on
Document Management and Workflow. She also became an active
consultant with both vendors and end users in the IT sector, and joined Cambridge
Corporate Management in January 2001. Projects are usually centred on developing an
information processing strategy and the selection of vendor partners who will be able to
fulfil the requirements of those strategies. Vendor projects range from helping to set up
distribution networks to advising on future marketing strategies.
Her clients have included Agfa Gevaert, AT&T, Bell & Howell,
Blue Circle, Bowater, Blenheim Exhibitions, Canon, CCTA, Fujitsu, Grundig, IBM, ICL,
Oxford University, Panasonic, Reuters, Smartlogik, Spescom and Xerox.
